About the Job
We are Nashville’s premier Passenger Vessel in downtown Nashville along the Cumberland River. We provide 2-hour tours from the downtown riverfront. Our tours include music, a capacity of up to 47 passengers, and an on-board bar with a variety of beer, seltzers, wine, and canned cocktails for our guests. We entertain many tourists, bachelor and bachelorette groups, corporate team outings, etc.
Job Description:
We are looking for outgoing, fun, and responsible individuals. Must not be shy, have a desire to entertain, use a microphone to engage with guests, and provide elite customer service and experience all while upholding to a high standard of rules and etiquette aboard the vessels. Significant opportunity to make tips plus base pay per cruise while being outside and enjoying time on the water!
Job Requirements:
- Must have a cell phone with texting capabilities and an active email address.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Experience in the tour, service, entertainment, or music industry is preferred but not required.
- Understand music flow, Spotify, and entertainment.
- Flexible schedule with either weekday or weekend availability regularly – can work with your schedule!
- Ability to problem solve & think on your feet.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable being in a host/guide for groups of people.
- Pass random drug tests and background checks for pre-employment.
- Ability to swim 100 feet.

The Pontoon Saloon® offers Nashville’s #1 river cruise experience — a floating party boat on the Cumberland River perfect for bachelorette parties, birthdays, and private events. It’s the best honky tonk booze cruise on the water! We launched our first tours in the spring of 2017, welcoming thousands of people for the first time to the Cumberland River from the Nashville Riverfront. We expanded in 2021 with the addition of our purpose-built marina just 2 miles from Riverfront giving us easy access to millions of visitors to Nashville and also our own marina to operate tours year-round.
